BURLING Valerie Died in France May 2015. Known to us as Val. This news was a cause for great sadness. Val was my friend, an industrious academic, fellow Jazz enthusiast and university graduate. She was loyal and trust worthy at a most impressive and developmental time in our lives. We shared a rite of passage and days of seemingly endless youthfulness There was no time to say goodbye, but I sinceally hope she found fulfilment and happiness in her adoptive Country. Remembered with fondest love. Pat Roberts. Tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner.

I knew Valerie when I was at school and at Caen University. Later I settled in England and kept in touch by phone with Valerie. Then moved to Wales and lost the contact unfortunately. I have very fond memories of Valerie. Very sorry to hear of her passing away. Rest in peace.

Hello Pat,
Please forgive the message, but I recently read your announcement regarding Valerie. I was Valeries cousin and visited her regularly in France up until her death. If you wouldn't mind I would love to hear a little more about your's and Val's friendship, memories etc if you would be willing to share.
