Probus Club of Stourbridge

THE Annual General Meeting of the Probus Club uf Stourbridge was held on 15 May.

The president, Alec Beevers reported that the Club had enjoyed another successful year of monthly luncheon meetings, outings and social activities and thanked the committee for their work. New officers elected for next year include president, Dennis Howard and treasurer, Malcolm Totney. Members were reminded that the President's Dinner is to be held Stourbridge Golf Club on 29 June.

The AGM was followed by an interesting talk on 'Humour in Court' by our guest speaker, former solicitor Geoff Davies The club meets at The Talbot Hotel on the third Tuesday of every month and membership is for men only.
