Stourbridge Croquet Club

NOW is your chance to discover that croquet is not only a game for toffs! Stourbridge Croquet Club is holding an open day, on Saturday 26th May at 2pm, on Mary Stephens Park.

Come along in a pair of flat shoes and have a go.

We will provide the equipment and know how it is possible to have an enjoyable game with very little experience.

Having had a taster you may decide to join our club where you can continue to play in a friendly and/or competitive spirit.

There are two versions of the game. On our open afternoon you will be playing golf croquet which is fairly easy to understand and one game lasts less than an hour.

There is another version, call Association Croquet, where the games may last for three hours.

We play both at Mary Stephens Park.

Croquet is a game where men and women play on equal teams and you can keep playing until you are 90.

Come along on May 26th or telephone 01562 885286 for further details.
