Three-legged cat needs home
RSPCA volunteer Anita Butler with Katie the cat.
RSPCA volunteer Anita Butler with Katie the cat.

THE Stourbridge branch of the RSPCA is seeking a new home for a poor little puss who has lost her leg and tail after a miserable time roaming the streets.

Katie the cat, as she has been named, was taken in by the branch after being found in a Kingswinford garden - with a dead' leg and an infected tail.

Taken in by animal foster carer Denise Scholey, she has since had to have both her leg and tail amputated - but the gorgeous grey moggy is now well on the road to recovery.

Denise said: "To say she's only got three legs and no tail, she's very able and very agile. She's so friendly and outgoing, and can lead a normal life.

"Once she's settled I think she'll be a good companion for somebody who can find time for her."

Anyone interested in re-homing Katie, or any of the branch's many rescue cats and kittens, can call Denise on 01384 376664.
