BELLWAY Homes answered a call to Ramp up the Red in support of the British Heart Foundation’s February campaign.
Employees across the West Midlands dressed in red for a day to raise money for the charity’s research programme.
Staff at Bellway’s headquarters in Tamworth embraced the initiative, as did their colleagues at sites across the region.
Sales and Marketing Director for Bellway West Midlands, Stephen Rose, said: “The Ramp up the Red campaign was good fun and raised money for an excellent cause, but we were also keen to highlight the serious message behind it.
“Heart conditions can strike at any age and most of us know someone who has been affected, so we wanted to do all we could to bolster the research funds. Donations are still coming in from across our sites but we can already see that our staff and contractors dug deep.
“Bellway also champions the British Heart Foundation’s key messages by encouraging employees to live healthier lifestyles. For example, we offer a package to support employees who want to quit smoking.”
Bellway is building at sites across the West Midlands from Telford in Shropshire to Evesham in Worcestershire.
