CLAIRE Adams, a Wyre Forest-based commercial agent with Doolittle & Dalley LLP, has successfully passed an NFoPP Technical Award in Commercial Property Agency.

This well-respected award is not only a nationally-recognised industry qualification but is an entry requirement of the Institution of Commercial and Business Agents (ICBA) – a leading professional body for agents specialising in the commercial and business transfer sector. Claire joined Doolittle & Dalley three years ago following redundancy from a career in management accounts.

She said: “I decided to start studying towards this qualification as a result of a natural interest in the business sector and the desire to have a better understanding and am thrilled the hard work has paid off and I have secured the Technical award.

“For me, it is not only a personal achievement but evidence of our professionalism as an agency, showing our clients that they are dealing with someone who is knowledgeable and who they can trust to do a good job”.

Partners Richard Hall and John Andrews, who work alongside Claire at Doolittle & Dalley, said: “We could not be more proud of Claire’s achievement. We strongly believe Wyre Forest businesses and investors will vote with their feet in support of an agency that is staffed by hard-working property professionals of intelligence and integrity that we employ here.

Doolittle & Dalley is amongst the steadily growing number of agents across the UK who are working with ICBA and the NFoPP to become qualified and raise standards within their field.

Elizabeth Richards, Head of Legal and Policy at the National Federation of Property Professionals, said: “I heartily congratulate Claire on her achievement and am pleased to welcome her to ICBA membership.

“In an industry where standards can vary greatly between member and non-member agents and agencies, obtaining this award represents not only Claire’s dedication to developing as an agent but also her commitment to working to the high industry standards which ICBA seeks to promote”.
