Estate agency Connells has donated over £1,800 to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

The money, which was raised at an event held by Connells for its senior staff, was recently presented to the NSPCC by Chief Executive Stuart Flavell.

“We at Connells regularly donate to the NSPCC and have chosen to support this charity across our estate agency branch network,” said Mr Flavell.

"It is a pleasure to give this money to such a worthy cause and a well-known and successful charitable organisation.”

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children.

The charity campaigns to change the law, provide ChildLine and the NSPCC helpline service, and works directly in communities running services for children and families.

“We would like to thank Connells estate agency for its recent donation,” said Geraldine Harmon, Corporate Manager at the NSPCC.

“Without the support of individuals and organisations such as Connells, we simply wouldn’t be able to run our services, which are so often a lifeline for children and young people. I look forward to continuing our relationship with Connells in the future.”
