BLACK Country grunge rockers WEAK13 are back with a new single and a demand for support on home turf.

The trio recently released the track Go Away which introduces a new sound and attitude which they say fans are comparing to Nirvana and Soundgarden.

The band are planning a return to the studio later this year to complete their first full album and say its time British promoters gave them the credit they get abroad.

WEAK13 vocalist and guitarist, Nick J Townsend, said: "This band is now getting interest from Russia, Spain, China and the USA.

"Over xmas we had a music video played on US cable TV, what we found strange is despite WEAK13 getting a lot of interest from outside the UK, we've been either ignored or dismissed by all the major venues in the midlands, It's disgusting really as we're flying a flag for British music and they aren't showing their support"

Go Away will be free to download until the album is set for release at the end of the year, in the meantime they will giving fans a chance to be in their next video shoot in March.

The video to accompany Go Away can be seen on YouTube and includes footage filmed at Worcester Arts Workshop during WEAK13's performance at last years Worcester Music Festival 2012.

One of the band's previous music videos (Wake Down) won Best Music Video category in the 2010 London Limelight Film and Arts Awards and they are hoping to make their next video their biggest production yet.
