Gangsters, molls and custard pies will take over Corngreaves Primary School when they stage their production of Bugsy Malone next month.
The school version of the classic musical set in prohibition era Chicaga stays close to the original script by Alan Parker and features Year 6 pupils in the starring roles of Bugsy, Blousey Brown, Fat Sam and Tallulah.
Year 6 teacher Wendy Harrison said: "The children have been rehearsing since May and are really excited about the performance. We would like to invite everyone to come and see what promises to be a very fun and entertaining show."
The first performance at the school on Plant Street, Cradley Heath, is on Tuesday July 8 from 7pm, followed by a second performance on July 9 from 1.15pm.
Tickets costing £2 for adults and £1 for children are available by calling the school on 01384 569333.
