Tin Omen set for a dark night in Wolverhampton

TIN Omen’s fans may hail mostly from the goth side of rock but it could be a mistake to pidgeon-hole the band there.

With influences ranging from Nine Inch Nails to Kylie Minogue, the Wolverhampton band mix heavy guitar riffs, dance tracks and emotive vocals from Kelly Newton.

Formed in 1998 by guitarist Brian Sutton, the band evolved to include Kelly and then keyboard and guitar player John Baker, who joined early in 2003.

The band released their debut album, ‘Goth Idol’ in 2006 and more recently have been on the road supporting big names like Ministry, Spear of Destiny and Gary Numan.

Catch Tin Omen with support from Deviant UK and Flesh Eating Foundation at Wolverhampton’s Little Civic on Saturday August 16.
