The Damned plan a future to match their past

PUNK protagonists The Damned are a band with a future as a well as an illustrious past.

Many acts with a 32-year history would rely on their back catalogue for money making greatest hits tours but Dave Vanian and his men are smarter than that.

Last year saw the release of a new album, ‘So, Who's Paranoid?’, which retains their trademark sound of dark melodies tinged with jagged satire.

The album received rave reviews and their live show still has critics in raptures - even The Guardian said a Damned gig was the most fun aging punks could have with their clothes on.

Catch The Damned at JB’s in Dudley on Friday July 10.
