Comedian Laurence on song for Stourbridge gig

Laurence has just finished filming a documentary for BBC 1, the programme is called Jokes, Nappies and Wheelchairs and follows Laurence and his wife Adele through the ups and downs of having their second child.

The programme is narrated by David Tennant and is due to be shown in March.

Laurence Clark has appeared regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and received outstanding reviews.

Kate Copstick of The Scotsman described Laurence’s show as: “Genuinely laugh out loud funny. I cannot think of another comic here who provokes so much thought and so much laughter at one and the same time.”

Also performing at the evening is young vocalist Katie-May Garrett. Katie from Pensnett is a performing arts student at Halesowen College. She will be performing songs from musical theatre. Katie is a volunteer at Black Country Phab, an inclusive social group for disabled and non-disabled adults that meets monthly.

The Evening of Comedy and Song will be held at The Edward Rutland (aka Lloyds Bar), High Street, Stourbridge on Monday February 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £5 each and are available now at the Edward Rutland and The Samson and Lion, Brierley Hill Road, Wordsley.
