His recital at St James' Church, Bridgnorth Road, is the latest in the popular Local and Live series, which is now in its sixth season.
The programme will include music by Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin and some of Liszt's cycle Italie' from Annees de Pelerinage' and it is being held in memory of well-known music personalities who have died in the past year - Lisa Careless (former music teacher at St James' CofE Primary School); Peter Crofts (former preacher and headmaster of Netherton Primary School); and Jos and Barbara Jones - dedicated helpers behind the scenes at Local and Live.
Former King Edward VI College student Mark, who studied at the Royal College of Music with Phyllis Sellick and Kendall Taylor and later in Italy with legendary Aldo Ciccolini, has toured extensively throughout Europe, the far east and north Africa.
He has appeared at all the major London concert halls, Birmingham Symphony Hall and he has featured as a concerto soloist and recitalist on BBC television and radio.
The recital will also launch the St James' Church Piano Fund to raise money for the upkeep of the church piano used for the concerts.
Tickets cost £7 (£5 concessions) and include a glass of wine or fruit juice.
