A STUNNING visual feast of more than 1,000 quilts from all over the world will be on display at the Festival of Quilts at The NEC from August 20-23.

And to celebrate the event, the Advertiser has teamed up with the NEC to give away five pairs of tickets.

The Festival of Quilts, organised with the support of the Quilters Guild of the British Isles, has earned a reputation over the past six years as the largest, most inspiring quilting event in Europe.

Boasting a host of white wall gallery exhibitions from leading international artists and groups, the Festival of Quilts 2009 features international stars such as Chunghie Lee, Yoshiko Jinzenji, European Art Quilt Foundation and SAQA.

The Quilt Academy offers a stunning programme of over 75 masterclasses, workshops and lectures, and the quick akd easy workshops provide another 160 plus sessions aimed at beginners. Once you’re inspired by the intricacies of this art, you can then find all your patchwork and quilting items from over 250 companies selling specialist supplies at this show.
