Set within several acres of grounds it is undoubtedly one of the finest country houses in the region. Continuing to captivate guests who marvel at the surroundings, the 17th Century Grade II* listed country house provides a relaxing atmosphere bringing a sense of occasion to any event.

The Lodge Restaurant opened in the summer of 2000, replacing the original and is located in a former hay barn & cart store to the north of Blakelands Main House.

Bookings are generally taken on an arrival time basis giving time to have a drink in the bar area while you peruse the menu & wine list and generally relax to a quieter pace.Your orders are taken while in the bar & shown through to your table when Chef is ready, only one sitting is ever taken, with the emphasis on relaxed dining where Peter and the team guide you effortlessly through your course's. The Restaurant seats 50 and the mix of different size tables provides for an open but intimate setting. The table is yours for as long as you wish to take over your meal, making this an ideal restaurant for that special occasion or to catch up with old friends.

The menus are changed seasonally, spring is being served until the end of May & the new summer menu will then follow from June until the end of August.
