Since opening in Halesowen the Bangla Lounge Restaurant has earned a deserved reputation for its cuisine.
Mouthwatering dishes from the Indian continent give diners the opportunity to sample classic dishes and Bangladeshi specialities Restauranteur Bari Abdul is passionate about the quality and variety of the food that is served on their extensive menu.
He said: "Our chef is extremely talented and it's his creativity with ingredients and spices that makes our dishes so distinctive.
"Indian pumpkins are a delicious addition to our Chicken Rasam which, with our Lamb Tikka Shatkora are dishes which are not readily found elsewhere."
A choice of appetisers and starters whet your appetite for main courses like the Special Thali - a beautifully presented connoisseurs selection of mini main courses.
There are house specialities like Shakuti Chicken and Lamb with classic favourites like Tandoori, Tikka, Biryani and Balti dishes - with plenty of choice for vegetarians too.
King Prawn dishes also feature strongly on the menu with ten main courses ranging from the classic King Prawn Rezelah to King Prawn Dhansk where lentils, lemon and chillies combine to produce a medium hot and sour taste.
Mr Abdul added: "Our customers are given individual attention and don't have to rush - the table is theirs for the evening so they can relax and enjoy a drink from our licensed bar. "We aim to provide excellent value for money in stylish and contemporary surroundings."
Gourmet meals for large parties are also catered for along with buffets - with exclusive use of the restaurant at certain times.
