INVADING the UK airwaves with infectious American pop-rock, Walk The Moon will be stepping out on stage at a Birmingham venue next week.

Hailing from Ohio, the young four-piece have already made waves as they crossed the pond to support You Me At Six earlier this year and now will be at Birmingham's Temple on Thursday, May 21.

With new single Shut Up And Dance, which is due for release on May 31, taken from the second studio album Talking Is Hard, released June 8, Walk The Moon will be hitting the stage running as they quickly become a live favourite in the UK pop-rock scene.

"We want our music to be the most fun thing you've ever listened to in your entire life," said bassist Kevin Ray. "We want it to not just affect you emotionally, but also physically in that it makes you want to dance."

On a mission to top pop-rock musts playlists, Walk The Moon stop off in the second city on a four-date tour of the UK, which includes dates in London, Manchester, and Glasgow.
