A STOURBRIDGE musical charity group is staging its annual big band concert at a town centre church this Saturday (October 10).

Gig Caritas’ Moonlight Sinatra gig, featuring local singer Chris Passey and a 25-piece big band, is set to take place at St John’s United Reform Church, in St John’s Road, at 7.30pm.

The most celebrated of the company’s evenings will feature a James Bond twist, as guests are taken through timeless swing classics with a 007 theme weaving its way through the night.

Money raised at the black tie concert will be donated to the Brierley Hill-based Black Country Foodbank, which provides three days nutritionally balanced emergency food-aid for people in crisis.

Tickets for limited seating gig cost £10 and are available online at www.gigcaritas.com, from Harris & Son Butchers in Wollaston or on the door.
