SPARKLEHORSE are like no other band in the world and produce a sound impossible to label.
Since the mid 90s, leading horseman Mark Linkous has become an iconic figure, with musical collaborators like Tom Waits and fans including Radiohead.
His mix of full-on rock and delicate melodies reflect a turbulent life plagued by a drug addiction which nearly killed him.
Now back on top form after a five-year break to record their latest album, Dreamt For Light Years in the Belly of a Mountain, the band are set for a visit to Birmingham's Carling Academy 2 on Monday June 4.
