MUSIC, dance and drama will kick-off a sizzling summer in style during a three-day arts festival at Himley Hall and Park.
The Dudley Performing Arts Summer Festival, held between July 6 and 8, will offer a wide range of entertainment at the open-air event.
The stunning venue will become the home of rock to kick-off the festival on Friday July 6 with the Rock the Castle'. Thirty-five bands over three stages will rock it out for the prestigious title between 5pm and 10pm.
Saturday's (July 7) show Festivities, Performance and Carnival' will see a host of superb performances from different art forms.
Entertainment will come courtesy of dance groups, choirs, orchestras and bands across Dudley.
The festival will come to a climax on Sunday July 8 with a Festivities, Performance and Classical Spectacular' between 11am and 9pm.
Councillor Liz Walker, cabinet member for children's services, said: "The Dudley Performing Arts Summer Festival is always an extremely popular event.
"I'm sure thousands of people will turn out over the three days to enjoy the huge variety of entertainment young people from across the borough will be providing."
Tickets are priced, for one day £5 and £4 for concessions including all events and workshops. Visitors are invited to bring picnics on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival.
