LEGENDARY folk rock pioneers Lindisfarne will be putting on a Christmas treat for fans at the Robin 2 in Bilston next week.
The band, which emerged from Tyneside in the 1970s and carved out a place as one of British rock’s most original bands, will be performing at the Mount Pleasant music venue on Thursday December 15.
Although the original outfit called it a day in 2003, Lindisfarne is back with a classic six-piece line up of long-time members and fronted by original founder member Rod Clements and Alan Hull’s son-in-law Dave Hull-Denholm and they are promising to bring a good dose of pre-Christmas cheer when they take to the stage at the Robin 2.
The show looks set to include some of the band's most well-known hits including Meet Me On The Corner and Fog On The Tyne.
Blackheart Orchestra will be the support act.
Tickets for the show cost £20 in advance from or www.therobin.co.uk or £22 on the door.
