5:07pm Tuesday 26th June 2007 in Music By Martyn Smith
A WALL Heath venue is set to host a three-day festival of top rock from around the borough.
The Full Throttle festival at the Bush Inn, Swindon Road, boasts a line-up of original and tribute acts with something for everyone who enjoys their music loud and lively.
Among top tribute acts set to take the stage during the event are Permission To Rock, U-rythmix, U2-4U, Dizzy Lizzy and Once More Into The Bleach.
Music is not the only form of heavy metal on display - the festival will feature a Harley Davidson show and custom motorcycle competition open to any bikes.
Event organisers Wolfruna, the Wolverhampton Harley Davidson chapter, will be awarding a trophy and £250 to the best bike in the custom show.
Wolfruna spokesman Martin Smith said: "On site Full Throttle is equipped with everything necessary for the perfect festival experience.
"As well as free camping there are the facilities offered by the pub, several cans' bars, a hog roast, burgers, breakfasts and several clothes and merchandise stalls.
"On Sunday there will also be a bouncy castle and games, designed to keep every member of the family amused.
"However, aside from all this, what really makes Full Throttle stand apart is the calibre of bands that are playing at this year's festival."
Full Throttle has historically been held at a Harley Davidson dealership in Wolverhampton but the success of the 2006 event meant a change of venue was required.
Full Throttle gets started at 5pm on Friday July 6.
Weekend tickets cost £10 in advance or £15 at the event.
