A STOURBRIDGE indie pop band are walking in the footsteps of The Beatles as they headline a festival at Liverpool’s iconic Cavern Club.
Amoeba Teen will perform as part of the 18th anniversary of the International Pop Overthrow Festival – a global event including dates across the USA and Sweden – on Friday (May 19).
The four-piece ban’s singer and guitarist, Mike Turner said: “It’s an honour to be asked to play at such a prestigious global festival, as well as playing during The Cavern’s 60th anniversary year.
“We’re really looking forward to entertaining the crowd.”
Amoeba Teen will return to their hometown to play Claptrap, the former Scary Canary Venue, on July 7 to celebrate the launch of their new album, The Appleyard Sessions.
