BUDDING choristers can find out what it would be like to perform with a popular Stourbridge singing group.

Viva Musica choir is inviting people to attend its rehearsal and concert on Saturday June 10 at St James's Church, Wollaston.

The open event which will include tea, coffee and cakes, has been organised by not-for-profit music group Local & Live.

Graham Smith, chairman of Local & Live, said: "Anyone coming along will have the opportunity to rehearse a Phantom of the Opera selection, Handel's Hallelujah chorus and music by John Rutter - then enjoy tea, coffee and cakes before taking part in the performance."

The rehearsal starts at 4.30pm and the concert begins at 7pm.

Tickets to take part or to hear the concert are available on the door, priced £9.

Admission is free for anyone under the age of 18.
