Top brass off to park

Brass band fans are in for a treat when a top band plays a Cradley Heath park.

The Phoenix West Midlands Concert Band will be appearing at Haden Hill park this Sunday, September 7, between 2.30pm and 5pm, as part of Sandwell’s Music in the Park sessions.

Organised by the council, the scheme is designed to give residents the chance to hear top quality music.

Councillor Linda Horton, cabinet member for culture and leisure, said: “We have had quality bands and we are proud to provide this little extra interest to Sunday afternoon in the park.

“We hope that as many people as possible get along to listen to them.”
