Orchestras united for concert

BOROUGH youngsters will be joined by top West Midlands orchestras at a special performance at Dudley Concert Hall.

Sandwell, Worcester and Warwickshire youngsters will be at the event, held this Sunday (February 4) aiming to promote minority wind instruments and provide the chance for young wind players on all instruments to work together.

The concert features work by Dudley composer Robert Foster, the CBSO youth wind quartet and the Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Band.

The concert starts at 2.45pm, doors open at 2.15pm. Tickets cost £5 (£4 concessions), available in person or by calling the box office at Dudley Council Plus on 01384 812812 or go to www.dudley.gov.uk/entertainment.
