A VARIETY show featuring some of the Black Country's most talented performers will raise funds for Compton Hospice.

The Bostin' Black Country Variety Show, which is set to take place on February 27 at The Station Hotel, Dudley, will feature a mixture of live music and comedy entertainment.

Headlining the show will be Dudley folk band The Empty Can, best known for creating the official Black Country Anthem.

The evening will also feature performances from award winning comedian Wayne Beese, Open Mic UK 2014 finalists Brett Huckfiled and Marie Timmins, comedy singer Bob Gessey and Black Country poet and writer Steve Bartley.

Guests will also be given the opportunity to win some prizes by taking part in the ultimate Black Country quiz.

Vicki Wootton, who has helped organise the event, said: “If you love all things Black Country, then you won’t want to miss this bostin night out.

“We are very grateful to the acts who will be giving up their time to perform at the event.

“We hope to raise lots of money for Compton Hospice, which provides incredible care and support to terminally ill patients and their families across the Black Country.”

Doors open at 6.30pm, with last entry at 7.20pm.

Tickets cost £12 and are available by calling 01902 774548.
