TV funnyman Patrick Monahan will complete an unprecedented hat-trick when he returns to Stourbridge's popular Fitz of Laughter Comedy Club for a third time on Friday July 1.

Monahan headlined the first-ever show at Katie Fitzgerald's in Enville Street back in September 2014.

Since then, the half-Iranian comic has made regular television appearances on the likes of Splash, Show Me The Funny, Celebrity Squares and The Paul O'Grady Show.

He featured only this month on ITV2's Safeword programme.

Resident compare Wayne Beese said: " Patrick will become the only comedian to play this venue three times and that is the measure of the high regard he is held in here. It's impossible not to warm to him."

Monahan will be supported by pro-comics Barry Dodds and Andrew McBurney.

The club runs on the first Friday of every month and has been sold out for every show this year.

It has featured many top acts including Rob Deering, Tom Binns, former Xtra Factor host Matt Richardson, Phoenix Nights' Archie Kelly, Jo Enright and Tom Stade.

Tickets cost £10 and are available online at www.skiddle.com/e/12557353 or call Wayne Beese on 07507 015397.
