DAN Whitehouse is a singer/songwriter from the Black Country who is destined for big things.
He has spent the last 12 months touring with label mates Eddi Reader, Boo Hewerdine and Kris Drever and finished 2016 with his own successful headline shows in London and Birmingham.
He was also invited to open the UK shows for American musician Joan As Police Woman in March this year.
His sound has been described as ‘Black Country Soul’ and critics say the nine songs on his album, That’s Where I Belong, sound "confident, confessional, cohesive and engaging".
He is currently on tour with Americana singer Jess Morgan, who he collaborated with on the songs Close Up and Bars.
The pair will perform solo sets at the MAC Arts Centre in Birmingham on Friday (October 6).
Tickets cost £12 and are available via macbirmingham.co.uk
