STOURBRIDGE historian Roy Peacock will be giving a talk on Stourbridge benefactor James Foster to start off the lecture season of Chaddesley Corbett Local History Society.

Mr Peacock will outline the life of the well-known former industrialist and businessman and the many benefits his generosity brought to Stourbridge.

The talk takes place at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall on Tuesday February 19, starting at 7.30pm.

Entrance for non-members is £3 and includes refreshments.
