Chan inspiraton means 36 Crazyfists pack a punch

METAL band 36 Crazyfists take their name from a Jacky Chan movie and say their music packs a similar punch.

The group grew up in Alaska and found isolation in the remote American state provided inspiration both for their music and as individuals.

Vocalist Brock Lindow said: “I hope people can look at 36 Crazyfists as a group that came from a place where no one gets out of musically, who saw the world and made music that was creative and in some form, unique.”

The group released their first album, Bitterness the Star, in 2002, and have since gathered fans throughout Europe and the US.

Catch 36 Crazyfists at Wolverhampton’s Wulfrun Hall on Monday March 9.
