Mia Farrow and Brian Dennehy are among a string of big name movie stars to appear in a new production of Love Letters on Broadway.

AR Gurney's romantic play is composed of letters exchanged over a lifetime between friends who grew up together.

Mia, 69, and Brian, 74, will star in the two-person production from September 13 to October 10 at the Nederlander Theatre directed by Gregory Mosher.

Carol Burnett will then star opposite Brian until November 7 when Alan Alda and Candice Berge will take over the roles until December 5.

Stacy Keach and Diana Rigg will appear in the production from December 6 to January 9, and finally Anjelica Huston and Martin Sheen will finish the run from January 10 to Febuary 1.

The play was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. It debuted on Broadway starring Colleen Dewhurst and Jason Robards in 1989.
