Chris Pratt is apparently being lined up to play Indiana Jones in Disney’s new reboot of the film franchise.
Harrison Ford first played the adventuring archaeologist, created by George Lucas, on the big screen in 1981′s Raiders Of The Lost Ark, and the three movie sequels.
Disney bought the rights from Paramount in 2013 and Deadline has reported that the studio is now looking to begin work on a new Indiana Jones film franchise.
Parks And Recreation star Chris is apparently top of their list to star as Indy.
The 35-year-old recently proved his action chops as Star-Lord in Marvel comic book movie Guardians Of The Galaxy, which was also made by Disney.
Chris is about to begin filming The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua in April for MGM and Sony, and is also set to return as Star-Lord in the Guardians Of The Galaxy sequel.
So will he have time to commit to such a major franchise role?
