A candidate on The Apprentice has avoided being told “You’re Fired!” after quitting the show.
Scott Saunders left the BBC One series after clashing with Lord Sugar, The Sun on Sunday reported.
The 27-year-old from Hertfordshire walked out of the boardroom after the billionaire entrepreneur criticised his “idiotic” mistakes and “useless” performance, the newspaper said.
An Apprentice spokeswoman said: “We never comment on upcoming episodes because it spoils viewer enjoyment.”
But in a series of tweets, Lord Sugar denied he had rowed with a candidate.
It is not the first time a candidate has quit the Apprentice.
Katie Hopkins, now a controversial commentator, walked off the show in 2006 when she was challenged by Lord Sugar about her willingness to relocate her children.
And in 2010 Raleigh Addlington left after his brother was wounded in an explosion in Afghanistan.
