As one of the music scene’s most flamboyant dressers, Jess Glynne can usually be relied upon to brighten up even the rainiest red carpet.

But the singer kept it much more simple when she arrived at the O2 Silver Clef Awards in London in a white trouser suit dotted with black and silver stars.

Jess has been named best newcomer at the ceremony, hosted by music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.

Also hitting the red carpet, Lionel Richie proved that oldies are still goodies as he arrived at the ceremony to pick up the O2 Silver Clef Award.

The award will be presented to him by Bee Gees star Barry Gibb, who arrived at the ceremony with his wife Linda Gray.

Brightening up the proceedings was Peter Andre, who arrived with his pregnant wife Emily MacDonagh, who sported a white crop top and pink skirt.

One Direction will be named best live act, while Hozier will win the international award, and Patti Smith will be given the outstanding achievement award.

Massive Attack will be crowned best band and Olly Murs will be named live best male and Florence Welch will be best female.

Craig David will take home the innovation award and Jeff Lynne will be given the icon award.

Andre Rieu will win the classical award.
