BLACK Country comic group Fizzog Productions have made their very own monster movie in aid of Comic Relief.
The Dudley-based group have made a short film called The Walking Jed in conjunction with Venomous Little Man Productions and Silent Studios which will be featured on YouTube.
The five-minute flick, which features BBC presenter Ian Winters, follows Fizzog’s much-loved old folks characters, Hilda, Letty, Ruby and May on their usual Saturday shopping trip around town - oblivious of the fact that they are in the middle of a Zombie Apocalypse.
Fizzog member Jacky Fellows said: “Our old ladies are a pretty scary bunch anyway but this time they have met their match. “It creates a lot of hilarity and hopefully will raise some cash for a very good cause.”
Members of the group will also be appearing in towns throughout the Black Country on Red Nose Day (Friday March 15) when they will be joined by a frightening collection of characters hoping to coin in cash for the charity appeal which Dudley-born comic Lenny Henry helped to start back in 1985.
