Carousel stars sought

TAB Operatic Society is desperately seeking a young male ballet dancer to take to the stage in its forthcoming production of Carousel.

The heart-warming tale - about carnival worker Billy Bigelow who asks for permission to be sent down from above for one day to try and make amends for mistakes he made in life - runs at Brierley Hill Civic Hall from Tuesday April 15 to Saturday April 19.

But the group needs a talented young dancer, proficient at ballet, aged in his late teens or early 20s - to take to the stage as the show's lead dancer.

The society also has a small speaking part up for grabs. Aspiring male thespians - again in their teens or early 20s - are being sought to play Enoch Snow Jnr.

Rehearsals are held at Dudley Wood Methodist Church Hall.
