Pirate panto fun

SEASONED Stourbridge performers will be treading the boards and walking the plank in the newly-formed Panto Factory's version of Treasure Island.

The group, formed out of the ashes of St Joseph's Pantomime company, is staging the popular pirate tale - penned by panto playwright Jim Sperinck and based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic book - at Stourbridge Town Hall.

Being directed by accomplished director Terri Wood, it runs from Thursday February 7 until Sunday February 10.

Evening shows start at 7.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and matinees starting at 2.30pm run on Saturday and Sunday.

Proceeds from the shows will be split between Mary Stevens Hospice and the NSPCC.

Tickets cost £7.50 and are available online from www.thepantofactory.co.uk or on 07005 803 887.
