The Tab Operatic Society is getting set to stage Rodgers and Hammerstein classic Carousel for its 61st production.

The group will be performing the show at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Bank Street, Brierley Hill, from Tuesday April 15 to Saturday April 19.

Featuring songs You'll Never Walk Alone, If I Loved You and June is Bustin Out All Over, the play centres on carousel hustler Billy Bigelow, who asks for permission to be sent down from above' for one day to try and make amends for the mistakes he made in life.

Seasoned performer Richard Cope stars as Billy Bigelow and Louise Griffin appears as his long-suffering love Julie Jordan.

Produced by Audree Henwood with musical direction by Brian Cox, shows start at 7.15pm nightly; there's also a matinee performance on Saturday, starting at 2.15pm.

Tickets are available on 01384 572483 or 0121 550 7254, from the Civic Hall box office during the evenings from Monday April 7 or online from www.taboperatic.com
