POLICE have launched an investigation after the body of a man was found on land off Birmingham Street, Stourbridge.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said officers were called out at 6.30am today (Wednesday March 19) to the field underneath the viaduct and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
She added: "Officers are in the early stages of enquiries and no further information is available at this time."
I was on the bus on my way to college this morning, I saw the dead man, who was surrounded by police and under a blanket (with feet sticking out). If someone found him at 6:30am why was he still there at 8:30am and why was no marquee/screen put around this? A child sitting infront of me saw what I saw from the road.
