Stourbridge tip to close for resurfacing work

STOURBRIDGE is to be without its tip for four days at the start of November while it is closed for maintenance work.

The Birmingham Street site will close at 6pm on Monday November 5 and will reopen at 8am on Saturday November 10.

Work is being undertaken to resurface the access road and to make improvements to help traffic flow through the site, no waste will be accepted at the site during the closure.

Councillor Tracy Wood, cabinet member for environment and culture said: “We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused to our residents as we undertake these essential works.

“By resurfacing the access road and making site improvements we are confident that the work will help the site to be more efficient for all who use it.”
