BEST-SELLING Stourbridge author Miranda Dickinson launches her latest romantic comedy novel today (Thursday November 8).

The popular chick lit author of Fairytale of New York, Welcome To My World and It Started With A Kiss has penned her fourth novel When I Fall In Love and hopes are high that it will propel Miranda back onto the seasonal bestsellers list.

Her latest offering tells the tale of Elsie Maynard who, after losing her happy ever after in sudden and painful circumstances, discovers a whole new life ahead of her that she never expected to have.

The light-hearted read, set in Brighton and Paris, sees the romantic heroine daring to date again and joining forces with former 80s rock star Woody Jensen to found choir like no other as she steps out into an unknown future - which could include gorgeous designer Olly Hogarth who seems intent on winning her heart.

Miranda, aged 39, said of her latest offering: “I'm so proud of my new book and still in shock that I'm lucky enough to write books. I can't believe I've written four novels and it still feels like a dream come true.

“I'm also really excited that When I Fall In Love is going to also be an unabridged audiobook for the first time.”

And before it has even had chance to fly off the shelves for this Christmas - the ever-busy author is already hard at work on her fifth, as yet untitled, novel - which will be out this time next year.

When I Fall In Love, published by Avon (part of HarperCollins) is available from all High Street and online book sellers.
