BRIERLEY Hill Civic Society is hosting a free talk by Wollaston artist, author and humourist Geoff Tristram on Monday (November 19).

The ‘Confessions of an artist’ talk will be held at St Michael’s Church, Bell Street South, Brierley Hill, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and it will see Geoff talking about his 35-year career as a professional artist during which time he has worked for the likes of Penguin, Embassy World Snooker, the BBC, Trivial Pursuit, ‘They Think It’s All Over’, Jeremy Clarkson and Jonathan Ross.

Tim Sunter, from Brierley Hill Civic Society, said: “Geoff was born and brought up in Brierley Hill and is a very funny and informative speaker. It should be a very entertaining evening.”

There is no charge for the talk - but people can give a donation if they wish.
