A TEENAGED girl suffered a serious head injury after being hit by a falling tree in Wollaston, Stourbridge, this afternoon (Thursday).
A second girl, also in her teens, suffered a shoulder injury in the incident which happened in the High Street at around 3.50pm.
Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were called to the scene where both girls were treated initially before being taken to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley.
The incident was one of several attended by West Midlands Ambulance Service this afternoon as strong winds and heavy rain battered the region.
