OLDSWINFORD shop workers are urging for people to join them on the road to nowhere for charity cash.
Staff at Tesco Express and petrol station are planning a three-day static bike marathon at the Hagley Road forecourt to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
The event will take place from 9am to around 5pm on Friday December 7, Saturday December 8 and Sunday December 9, members of the public are being invited to turn up and add more miles to the total.
Organisers are aiming to clock up 1,500 miles mark to hot their target of £1,700.
Event organiser Mark Clay, a Tesco Express team leader, said: "Anybody is welcome to come along and do whatever they can, its a chance for people to have a bit of fun and join in some Christmas cheer."
