Songs from the shows event will boost hospice coffers

MARY Stevens Hospice fundraisers are hoping an evening of songs from the shows will raise hundreds of pounds for their charity.

The Halesowen fundraising committee for the Stourbridge hospice in Hagley Road will recieve proceeds from a forthcoming concert by Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company.

Classics from shows including My Fair Lady, Phantom of the Opera and Top Hat, along with a medley from We Will Rock You, will be performed at Stourbridge Town Hall on Thursday February 28.

Hospice fundraiser Irene Layton said the company had donated money from its annual concert for about 12 years and last year raised £650.
