NEWLY-elected West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Bob Jones is launching a series of face-to-face meetings with members of the public across his patch, starting in Dudley.
The former Labour chairman of the region’s now disband police authority, believes it is “essential” that members of the public can contact him easily, have their say, and raise issues.
A police spokesman said: “While a phone call is often the most convenient way to make contact, it doesn't suit everyone and so Bob has announced dates for seven surgeries where members of the public can arrange to meet Bob and have their say.”
The first will be held on Friday January 18 at Dudley Council House, Priory Rd, at 6.30pm. To make an appointment, call 0121 626 6060.
