Dudley Group seeks hospital governors

THE Dudley Group is inviting people interested in becoming a hospital governor to find out more.

Foundation Trust Members and members of the public are invited to stand for election and become active members of the Trust’s council of governors to help shape the future of healthcare in the borough.

Vacancies are available in the public constituencies of Central Dudley and the rest of the West Midlands.

Dudley Group chairman John Edwards said: “Standing for election is a great opportunity for patients, their partners and carers to influence the way healthcare is provided.

“Governors play an important part in the governance of the Trust and work closely with the board of directors advising on local health issues.”

Nominations must be received by Tuesday February 5.
