Traffic problems mount as heavy snow blankets the Black Country

THE A456 Kidderminster Road in Hagley is blocked by two jack-knifed lorries between the A491 Stourbridge Road (Wychbury Inn traffic lights) and Hagley Road. 

As snow continues to fall, driving conditions are expected to deteriorate throughout the remainder of today.

Perrins Lane in Lye is also reported to be blocked by an accident while driving conditions on Mucklow Hill in Halesowen are said to be hazardous due to the snow.
