Ridgewood teacher recovering after scooter crash

RIDGEWOOD teacher Steve Tivey was today (Friday) recovering at home after the scooter he was riding home from work was involved in a road traffic smash earlier this week.

Mr Tivey, assistant headteacher at the Wollaston school, suffered arm injuries in the crash which happened in Bridgnorth Road at around 5pm on Monday (January 28).

The 50-year-old teacher was taken to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, and has since been discharged.
